Meet our team

We're committed to the well being of our town, our residents and the community.

PUBLIC NOTICE

From the Mayor

Dear Residents and Visitors,

I hope this letter finds you and your families well. As your mayor, I am honored to serve our wonderful town and its people. Aynor has always been a community built on strong values—hard work, kindness, and a deep sense of togetherness. We are a resilient and caring  community.  Whether it's the support for local businesses or neighbors looking out for one another, the spirit of Aynor shines brightly in everything we do.

I’d like to take this opportunity to update you on a few key initiatives that we are working on to keep our town thriving:

1. Starting New Local Businesses: Aynor is always open for new ideas and welcomes the entrepreneurial spirit. We are committed to providing resources and support for those looking to start new local businesses. We want new ventures to succeed in our community.

2. Community Improvements: I’m excited to announce the completion of the Town Park additions and renovations. Families are enjoying the fresh new look. We also look forward to the $4 million dollar Levister Community Center. https://www.wmbfnews.com/story/21632937/community-tears-down-separated-past-to-build-new-future-together/

3. Public Safety: Keeping Aynor safe remains a top priority. Our dedicated police and fire departments are working hard every day to protect our town, and we are continuing to explore ways to enhance public safety and emergency services.

4. Community Outreach: We are excited to share that a new town website will soon be live and accessible to all. This site will help us stay connected and informed. Our goal is to rebrand Aynor by emphasizing the personal, meaningful relationships that define our town, built on trust, open communication, and accountability.

As always, your input is crucial in shaping the future of Aynor. I invite all of you to attend the upcoming town hall meeting, where we will discuss these initiatives in more detail. Your ideas and concerns are essential to the decisions we make together.

Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to making Aynor the special place it is. I am proud of what we’ve accomplished and look forward to all that lies ahead.

Sincerely,
John Gardner
Mayor of Aynor
